ARCANO XIII - GALAICO TRIBAL

Grupo surgido a partir de la formación en ATSr en Galicia con Martnisha Tribal, que se reunieron para participar en el ARCANO XIII con una improvisación de ATS (American Tribal Style).
Ellas representan la alegría de reunirse cambio tras cambio, vida tras vida, el disfrute de poder bailar sin importar que los tiempos hayan cambiado:
'... aunque las estrellas hayan cambiado, nuestra vida se vuelve danza y nuestra danza expresa vida'

This a dance group born after the ATSr training in Galicia with Martnisha Tribal, got together to be part in ARCANO XIII with an ATS (American Tribal Style) impro.
They represent the happiness of meeting again change after change, life after life, the joy of being able to dance, no matter how times may have changed.
'... despite the stars may have changed, our life turns into dance and our dance expresses life'.

Una historia que ofrecemos a los amantes de la música, la danza, la
poesía, la pintura, la fotografía, el teatro,... Del arte, al fin.
Así nos mostramos, todos los que participamos en esta creación, con el alma desnuda y el corazón abierto.

This is the summary of a story made by legends, fire, longing, search, sarcasm, sweetness, light,...

A story offered to music lovers, dance lovers, poetry lovers, painting photography and theatre lovers... Art lovers, eventually.

 This is how we showed ourselves, all of us who have been a part in this creation, with a naked soul and an open heart.

Lamento contrariarles, pero no es así. El Arcano XIII es el Arcano sin
nombre.
En el tarot todas las cartas tienen nombre y número, excepto dos: el Loco no tiene número, y el Arcano XIII no tiene nombre.

Many of you think to know what the ARCANO XIII is, death in the Tarot. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it is not like that. Arcane 13 is nameless arcane.

All the cardas have a name and a number in the tarot, except for two: the Madman has no number, and the arcane 13 has no name.

GALAICO TRIBAL in ARCANO XIII English below

Este grupo de ATS (r) - American Tribal Style Registered - reúne a componentes de las cuatro provincias gallegas una vez al mes en A Coruña bajo la dirección de Martnisha, para continuar su formación y perfeccionar así un estilo de danza complejo y aún poco conocido.

Martnisha es bailarina, coreógrafa y profesora, principalmente de danza tribal fusión y ATS (r). Ha sido formada y certificada por Carolena Nericcio, y por tanto autorizada por la creadora del ATS para enseñarlo por todo el mundo fiel a lo que Caroleena inició hace 40 años en EE.UU. 

Martnisha gira con frecuencia por toda España, además de dar formaciones periódicas. Es también parte del grupo Iberas, que actúan principalmente en Madrid, y organizadora del festival anual Generation Tribal Fest Spain también en Madrid, que por cierto este año se celebrará el 22, 23 y 24 de Abril.

Las componentes de GALAICO TRIBAL son bailarinas, y algunas profesoras, con experiencia en otros tipos de bailes relacionados con la danza oriental. Aunque sus danzas en este caso se centran en el ATS (r), es decir, en la improvisación sobre una música que puede ser más o menos clásica dependiendo de la ocasión. 

Nada de lo que veréis está coreografiado ni ensayado previamente, lo que le da a su número un carácter que ninguna de las otras actuaciones tiene.

This ATS (r) group - Registered American Tribal Style - takes its member from the four Galician provinces who meet once a month in A Coruña, under Marnisha's direction, to continue their training and improve a still unknown and complicate style.

 

Martnisha is a dancer, choreographer and teacher of Tribal Fusion and ATS (r) mainly. She has been trained and certified by Carolena Nericcio, and therefore authorized by the creator of the style to teach ATS all over the world, true to what Carolena started 40 years ago in the USA.

Martnisha often tours around Sain and also teaches periodically. She is also part of the group Iberas, who perform mainly in Madrid, and organizes the annual festival Generation Tribal Fest Spain also in Madrid, and which, by the way,, this year will be held on April 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

The members of GALAICO TRIBAL are dancers, and some of them teachers, who have experience dancing other types of bellydances. Although their dances focus on the ATS (r) in this case, this is, on the improvisation over a music which may be more or less classical depending on the event.

Nothing that you will see, will be choreographied or previously rehearsed, which gives to their performance a characteristic that none of the other performances have.
