ARCANO XIII - NANDY ÁLVAREZ

Nandy llegó desde Vigo y nos trajo una fusión que llenó el escenario con músicas que nos transportaban a historias de cine. 

De mano de la figura de la muerte, del cambio, nos animó a no temer, a vivir el momento presente porque '... si no hay fin, no hay principio, si te entregas vivirás con intensidad el momento efímero'

Nandy arrived from Vigo and brought a fusion that filled the stage with musics which took us to film stories.

Introduced by the image of death, change, she encouraged us not to fear, to live the present moment because '... if there is no end, there is no beginning, if you surrender you will live intensely the ephemeral moment'

LAUDANUM & DEYANIRA in ARCANO XIII

 

Laudanum, bailarina de Tribal Fusion Bellydance, estilos dark & pagan fusion. Creadora de la troupe Fuga Daemonum. Escritora. Amante de lo grotesco. Con ella vendrá Deyanira, otra bailarina de Fuga Daemonum.

Fuga Daemonum son 3 bailarinas de Tribal Fusión formadas en Madrid y Barcelona por grandes artistas de la disciplina. 

Su educación tiene tres pilares fundamentales: Chandra Wegner, Ailbhe Large y Crystal Silmi. Sin ellas no serían las bailarinas que son hoy. 

Las ramas del árbol que forma su educación son las diferentes profesoras que también les ha tocado y enseñado de una forma u otra, aunque más breve, en el Tribal Fusion. Artistas del calibre de Sharon Kihara, Ariellah, Kammi Liddle, Samantha Emanuel, Jill Parker, Anasma, Tjarda, Rachel Brice, etc. 

No sólo se han formado en danza tribal, sino que han podido nutrirse de danzas como la contempóranea, moderna, hip-hop, bollywood, danzas orientales, jazz, funky, danzas polinesias, etc. 

Sus números toman una dirección muy visual para un disfrute de todos los sentidos, los movimientos son limpios y depurados y siempre ensalzados con una gran carga dramática que trata de hacer a nuestra danza, lo más completa posible.

MARTA CHANDRA in ARCANO XIII

Desde 2006 Marta Chandra ha dedicado su vida a la danza, viajando siempre en busca de las raíces que inspiran y sostienen su arte. En India vive varios meses al año desde 2008, comenzando su instrucción de danza clásica india Odissi en Orissa con Guru Padma Charan Dehuri, además de con Colleena Shakti y Sudhansu Puhan en Shakti School of Dance en Rajasthan, donde participa cada año en "Temple Dance Festival" de Pushkar, festival de danza clásica Odissi organizado por Shakti School of Dance y Colleena Shakti.

Durante el tiempo en India se sumerge en la danza gitana Kalbelia y otras formas folclóricas de Rajasthan, compartiendo vida y danza con mujeres locales en el pueblo de Pushkar, en Rajasthan aprendiendo así danza Kalbelia con Raki Kalbelia, Nathuri K. y Sunita K. Y participa en espectáculos de danzas tradicionales y de fusión en bodas y eventos privados en Rajasthan.

En Israel en 2013 recibe instrucción de la reconocida bailarina y profesora internacional Miriam Peretz, de danza Sufí y de danzas de Asia Central (danza persa y mística persa, danzas de Afganistán y danza gitana turka). Siguiendo con su formación en las Danzas de la Ruta de la Seda, forma parte de "Nava Dance Collective", comunidad internacional de bailarinas dedicadas al diálogo intercultural y la colaboración artística a través de las formas de danza tradicionales, sagradas y etno-contemporáneas, dirigida por Miriam Peretz.

De todas estas danzas, mezcladas con espontaneidad y creatividad, surge de manera natural la fusión única y personal de Marta Chandra. Siendo esta fusión de gran influencia india por su base en danza clásica, consiguiendo camuflar la estética india y adaptarse a cada estilo, usando la sutileza y expresión que le aporta esta danza.

En la Isla de Ibiza organiza y participa en distintos eventos privados y públicos, colaborando con músicos de la Isla, como Elea, Inner-Ji, Raga&Tala (músia clásica india),  y con el nuevo proyecto de música y danzas sagradas “Hyat”,  entre otros proyectos y en solitario.

Ha participado en espectáculos e impartido talleres y cursos intensivos en festivales de danza india, oriental y tribal fusión y en distintos festivales de música como Viñarock’09, Ciclo de Música Tres Culturas de Córdoba con el grupo de Música de Afganistán de Efrén López y en el Ibiza Roots Festival.

La hemos visto en Ourense participando en el II Burgas Tribal Connection Hafla este otoño y quedamos con ganas de ver más cosas que nos puede ofrecer.

Saada Tribal Group es la primera compañía de Danza Tribal formada en España (Madrid 2000). 

Su madrina es la precursora de esta danza en nuestro país, Kerensa de Mars, quien les enseñó la verdadera filosofía de este estilo de danza árabe, su significado y control del cuerpo.

Hoy día la compañía cuenta con 7 bailarinas, además de con la colaboración de otros profesionales del mundo de la danza y de la música.

Desde el año 2000 la compañía ha participado en importantes eventos de danza en España y el resto de Europa, impartiendo talleres y actuando en lugares como el Congreso Internacional de Bruselas, Raks Madrid en el Teatro Calderón, Bellyfusions (París), Tribal Umrah Festival (Nimes, Francia), Festival Internacional de Danza Tribal (Roma, Italia), etc.

Destaca su participación en el Maratón de Danza de Madrid 2007, junto a otras 150 compañías nacionales e internacionales, donde fueron premiadas por su coreografía 'Mística', y en el Primer Festival de comedia y danza de Miraflores (Madrid) donde quedaron finalistas.

También han participado en diversos eventos de moda, publicidad, televisión, prensa escrita, relacionados con el mundo árabe, como el periódico 'El Mundo', revistas especializadas (Edanza y Más allá) etc.

Saada Tribal Group is the first Tribal Dance Company based in Spain (Madrid 2000).

Their 'godmother' is the precursor of this dance in our country, Kerensa de Mars, who taught them the real philosophy of this style of Arabian Dance, its meaning and how it involves body control.

Nowadays the company is formed by 7 dancers, together with the cooperation of other professionals in the dance and music world.

From year 2000 the company has been part of important dance events both in Spain and the rest of Europe, teaching workshops and performing in places like the Brussels International Congress, Raks Madrid in the Calderón Theatre, Bellyfusions (Paris), Tribal Umrah Festival (Nimes, France), Tribal Dance International Festival (Rome, Italy), etc.

We must highlight their performance in the Madrid Dance Marathon 2007, along with other 150 national and international companies, where they were awarded for their choreography 'Mística', as well as the one in the First Comedy and Dance Festival in Miraflores (Madrid) where they were finalists.

They have also been part of several fashion, publicity and television events, as well as press articles, all of them related to the Arabian world, such as the newspaper 'El Mundo', specialized magazines (Edanza and Más allá) etc.

El Auditorio Municipal de Ourense acogerá este espectáculo en el que Ashley López es la artista principal, y que contará también con bailarinas de talla internacional venidas de toda España, y por supuesto también de Galicia. Poco a poco os las iremos presentando, pero ... preparaos, habrá sorpresas.

Éste será un viaje a una realidad en la que la música, la interpretación,... el arte en definitiva, fusionan vida y muerte como parte del todo, como proceso creativo, como movimiento constante.

El bagage celta de nuestra cultura gallega (Samhain, Yule,...) también estará presente, así como los ciclos de la Naturaleza, el Día de los Muertos, etc.

Será un viaje sólo de ida.

Cuando salgas por la puerta, tu mundo ... ya no será el mismo.

The Local Auditorium in Ourense will hold this show which presents Ashley López as main dancer, and will also present international dancers coming from all over Spain, and Galicia as well, of course. We will introduce them all to you in the next days, but... be ready, there will be some surprises.

This will be a journey to a reality where music, interpretation,... ultimately art, merge life and death as part of a whole, as a creative process, as constant movement.

The celtic background of our Galician culture (Samhain, Yule,...) will also be present, as well as the cycles of Nature, the Day of the Dead,...
